On March 19th the Federal Government issued guidance to the state and local governments regarding “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce”. The document issued by the Department of Homeland Security CISA lists Food and Agriculture as essential including; “Employees engaged in the manufacture and maintenance of equipment and other infrastructure necessary to agricultural production and distribution”. In this guidance they also stated, “If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.”
Platt Equipment Company regards this “Special Responsibility” to support you and your customers as a primary priority. Look for us to work with “Creativity and Courage” in the coming weeks.
